    Funnels 2.0 with drop-off insights

    Funnels have been our most-used report for years. Today we're shipping a ground-up rebuild.

    What's new

    • Drop-off insights — click any step to see the top properties of users who didn't convert
    • Time-to-convert distribution for every step
    • Unlimited steps (previously capped at 8)
    • Compare any two date ranges side by side
    "We found a 22% drop on our pricing page in under five minutes." — early beta tester

    Funnels 2.0 is live for every workspace. Your saved funnels have been migrated automatically.

    3 breaking changes

    1. acme.track() no longer accepts a callback

      @acme/analytics SDK

      Replace acme.track(name, props, cb) with await acme.track(name, props). Wrap calls in try/catch if you relied on the callback error argument.

    2. Page-number pagination removed from GET /v1/events

      REST API

      Use the next_cursor value from each response as ?cursor= on the next request. The page and per_page parameters now return 400.

    3. Funnel step ids are now strings

      REST API, webhooks

      Store funnel step ids as strings; numeric ids are no longer returned.

    • Cached results refresh in the background

    No action needed — this is already live.

    FixedExports

    CSV exports now respect your timezone

    Previously, every CSV export used UTC regardless of your workspace settings. Exports now use your workspace timezone and include the offset in the header row.

    Thanks to everyone who reported this!

    • Pin your favourite events to the top

    We also cut the initial load time in half.

    FixedSDK

    Fixed duplicate sessions on Safari 18

    Safari 18 changed how third-party storage is partitioned, which caused some sessions to be counted twice. We've shipped an updated SDK (v4.2.1) and backfilled the affected data.

    If you self-host the SDK, please update to the latest version.
